Our guesthouse is located at the best breathtaking location in Bukit Lawang. Nestled on the Bohorok river bank opposite to the stunning Gunung Leuser rainforest, Sumatra Orangutan Explore Guesthouse is a relaxing and inspirational place. Its green tropical garden at the riverside offers the perfect spot to relax before and after the trek while reading or taking a sun-bath. The rocky and sandy beach in front of the guesthouse is ideal to take a refreshing swim in the river during hot days or to spot wildlife in the jungle just ahead!

All our rooms are provided with comfortable beds, individual western style bathrooms (except for the budget rooms), mosquito nets, fans and balconies overlooking the rainforest !
