THOSE PRICES ARE SET BY THE ITGA-HPI INDONESIA GUIDE ASSOCIATION AND ALL GUIDES CERTIFIED BY THIS ASSOCIATION HAVE TO RESPECT THESE PRICES. THE SET PRICES ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO A FAIR COMPETITIVENESS ACROSS ALL AGENCIES IN BUKIT LAWANG.

If a company is offering cheaper prices, it means they are not compliant with the ITGA-HPI Indonesia guide association prices and rules and thus not providing their staff with the right salary they deserve. We will highly recommend you to not encourage this kind of unfair and unethical practices. A real ethical agency will never go against these rules, so please be careful of greenwashing. As a traveler you have the power to make a change and guarantee a better future for the local communities of the places you visit.
