REFRESHING TOUR IN THE MOUNTAINS

This 2 days tour takes you into an refreshing adventure to discover secret places on the way to Berastagi. A 2 hours drive will lead you to 5 secret waterfall spots. Take a refreshing plunge in these natural swimming pools! Then you will head to Rumah Pohon Habitat. This amazing wooden structure in the trees will offer you a wonderful viewpoint while enjoying your drink. Then you will head to your panoramic camping site for the night. Perfect spot for sunset and sunsrise! The place also offers many selfie spots with stunning view on the Gunung Leuser and North Sumatra (until Medan!).The next morning wake up and enjoy your breakfast with the sounds of Siamangs. On the way back, take a break and relax at a swimming pool in the middle of the jungle. Enjoy the invigorating fresh water coming from the mountains!

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your guesthouse around 9:00 am.

A 2 hours drive on the way to Berastagi will take you to some waterfall secret spots. magnificent secret waterfalls. A short trek will lead you to different waterfalls. You will enjoy canyoning and discover a stunning lagoon with turquoise clear water. You will be able to take a plunge in these natural pools surrounded by the jungle. Enjoy a yummy lunch in this idyllic area!

Back in the car, you will reach your Rumah Pohon, your next destination, within 1 hour. Rumah Pohon is an amazing wooden structure in the trees which offers a wonderful viewpoint. You will enjoy a drink at the restaurant there while enjoying the view over the green surrounded mountains.

Your camping site for the night is located just 2km from Rumah Pohon, on the top of a mountain. It offers a panoramic view over whole North Sumatra from the Gunung Leuser National Park to Medan. It's a perfect spot for sunset and sunrise.

Take dinner (mie goreng) while enjoying the sunset. Then, set up your tent and enjoy a great moment together around a bonfire. If clear, the sky will offer you a stunning view on the milky way. Look at the stars and fall asleep with the fresh air of the mountains.

Day 2

Wake up with the colorful lights of the sunrise and the sounds of the Siamangs.

After breakfast, a 30 min drive will take you to your last secret point : a swimming pool in the middle of the jungle ! This swimming pool, brand new and well furnished offers you laying space to relax and take a nap. Take an invigorating swim in the swimming pool filled with fresh water coming from the mountains!

The swimming pool entrance also includes an access to a wonderful jungle river just underneath. Feel free to go and explore this spot!

The place also offer a cute restaurant a small water point where you will enjoy your lunch before heading back to Bukit Lawang.

You will be back at your guesthouse in Bukit Lawang around 3 or 4 pm.

Tour includes: all entrance fees (waterfalls, Rumah Pohon, panoramic camping site Puncak Akui, swimming pool) Lau Kulap, canyoning equipment (life jacket), camping material (tent and mattress), 2 lunches, 1 breakfast, 1 dinner, water, laying space to relax at the swimming pool, private car with driver, English-speaking guide.
